What do I do when taking on a new student?
When I begin a player/coach relationship, with a player of any level, we agree to on-going, honest self-assessment
I help students build THEIR METHOD, based upon their natural instincts and physical abilities
We start at the BEGINNING. After putting a solid foundation in place through clean mechanics (grip, stance and ball position), we can build the swing of your dreams, for powerful and accurate shots.
DISCUSSION, flowing freely between student and teacher, is vital to build trust and ownership of your method

- Teaching/Coaching Philosophy- I believe we are all blessed with different talents and physical abilities. My job is to help you build YOUR METHOD. This is a combination of your physical abilities and the requirements for using a golf club to the best of your abilities. Some things are negotiable and should be unique to you and others are golden rules, present in all good player’s methods. The title of my book- The Driven Golfer: Building Your Method For Scratch Golf- describes you and your journey toward maximizing your goals within the game of golf. I want to help you USE YOUR TALENT TO GET BETTER, RATHER THAN TO JUST GET BY.
- It is best to start at the beginning and look at all aspects of your game (method). Only then will you create the roadmap that brings about measurable, constant improvement. You WILL GET BETTER and see clearly WHY IT IS ALL COMING TOGETHER.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1- Book Your Lesson
*Select your desired method of payment. Each lesson will be scheduled after the payment process is
complete.
*Lessons are $100 per session. This includes:
- Introduction- Tell me about yourself. What has been giving you a problem? What would you like to accomplish with the instruction program we build together? What area of your game would you most like to improve? Email this information, and anything else you would like to share, including your name and email to: info@thedrivengolfer.com
Step 2- Record your golf swings
* It is best to record from two angles: face on (FO)and down the line (DTL). For FO recording: place the camera about 5 paces away, directly in front of you and facing your body center and perpendicular to the target line. We have an app for you to easily video your swing. The link to the app is on the instruction page following your purchase. The app is universal so it doesn't depend on Google of Apple store.
For DTL recording: set the camera about five paces away and along your toe line or directly behind your
hands. Also, we want the camera to be no higher than our waist.
Step 3- Email your golf swings
*Videos transfer or send best when kept to one swing. The shorter the video, the better.
*Once I have your videos, I will create a video answer for your questions. I will send you excerpts from my book, comparisons with PGA players and before & after videos as well. Our lessons will be a respectful, professional information share between teacher and student.
*We will create an archive that will allow you to reflect on past lessons and see the improvement.
*I believe that long-term improvement requires solid mechanics. You will receive video instruction that shows how I believe the greatest golfers in the world prepare to strike a golf shot. Your mechanics (Grip, Stance and Ball Position) form the foundation that produce a great swing and high-quality golf shots.
*I am always available to answer any questions a student might have.

How We Deliver Online Lessons
Once you have selected the lesson package you want you're taken to a buy page. Complete the transaction there follow the prompts. You are creating an account with The Driven Golfer. We then take you to a success page with a message from Michael and a QR code to download our unique app to a smart phone or tablet.
At the course or range, you video your swing once from the front and once from the side. Then submit the video to Michael. A special password-protected page is created for you where you'll receive your instruction. We will notify you at the email address you provide in the app.
